Really nice COE park. Good, clean facilities. Nice swimming area. Glad we came and would come back in a heartbeat!
Ok so since the campground was mostly flooded our toy hauler had to squeeze in on a regular site. I had no problem backing it in because I do this a lot with my family. If you are inexperienced beware...it's tricky. Also there are not water spigots at every site so we had to fill up using 100 feet of hose issuing our closest neighbor's spigot. If you RV a lot you already know these state and national parks don't have individual sewage sites. The sites are nice and spacious and the views are very nice. When not flooded this would be a great location. As it was, the flood dampened our experience.
Is a nice place for larger groups. They even have an area for group camping. Has several boat docking areas and boat launch. There are sites from primitive to full hookup and sites specified for handicap. Some sites ate more difficult to get into and some are not as level, however most are easy walking distance from a bath house and there are a variety of surrounding views.
Very nice place-restrooms an showers were clean! I would stay there again! 12.00 with senior pass for water an electricity!
Very clean, everyone is friendly. They have a playground for kids and a beach. Great family place!
This camp location has a lot of hiking, biking and walking trails...when not flooded. We came and over 85% of those trails were flooded as were all the island pull through sites. It was a mess. I did manage to hit the available trails and got maybe 8 miles total for all the trails. Keep in mind there are over 30 miles of trails to give you an idea of how many trails were flooded.
